On June 10, the Da Nang Women's Union organized an important seminar on “Developing and Restoring Climate Change-Adapted Livelihoods for Women”. This event was not only a forum for sharing knowledge and experience but also clear evidence of Da Nang's strategic vision in promoting sustainable development, especially through the role of women.
In Trà Leng, where the Ca Dong, Xơ Đăng, and Mơ Nông communities are striving to develop their economy from precious specialties such as Quế Trà Leng and Sâm Ngọc Linh, learning from green, sustainable livelihood models is extremely necessary. The initiatives discussed at the seminar can open new directions for Trà Leng women, helping them enhance the value of OCOP products, while preserving the precious natural resources of this land.
The seminar emphasized the importance of adapting to climate change, a global challenge that mountainous communities like Trà Leng are facing. Equipping women with knowledge and skills so they can build stable, environmentally friendly livelihoods not only contributes to improving their lives but also protects the landscape and indigenous culture.
