Xã Trà Leng (trước đây thuộc huyện Nam Trà My, tỉnh Quảng Nam) nay trực thuộc thành phố Đà Nẵng sau khi sáp nhập địa giới hành chính. Nằm ở độ cao trung bình 1.500m so với mực nước biển, vùng đất cận trời với tài nguyên rừng quế và rừng dược liệu vô giá.
Cộng đồng Ca Dong, Xơ Đăng và Mơ Nông chiếm khoảng 98% dân số, mang theo di sản văn hóa phong phú: lễ hội cồng chiêng đến nghi lễ truyền thống, từ thổ cẩm hoa văn tinh xảo đến ẩm thực bản địa. Vùng đất này được bao bọc bởi đại ngàn Trường Sơn, nơi rừng nguyên sinh vẫn giữ vẹn nét hoang sơ.

Bằng La — symbol of resilience
of the community
After the landslide in late 2020, the Bằng La residential area was rebuilt from scratch — the new village sits on solid ground, symbolizing the recovery journey of Trà Leng's land and people. Government, businesses and community joined hands to rebuild, with every family housed in the new community.
