On the afternoon of May 27, 2026, the People's Committee of Trà Leng commune held its 3rd meeting to discuss preparations for the 1st Trà Leng Cinnamon Festival in 2026, scheduled to take place on July 4-5, 2026.
The meeting was chaired by Comrade Châu Minh Nghĩa - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee. Attending were Comrade Nguyễn Thế Phước – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People's Council; along with comrades from the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and commune mass organizations; leaders of specialized departments and agencies; representatives of schools, Health Station, Police, Commune Military Command; Party Cell Secretaries, and village heads in the commune.
At the meeting, Comrade Châu Minh Nghĩa presented the plan for organizing the 1st Trà Leng Cinnamon Festival in 2026, and assigned specific tasks to relevant sectors and units for the preparation work. Key contents included propaganda, infrastructure preparation, ensuring security and order, environmental sanitation, healthcare, logistics, and organizing cultural, artistic, and sports activities within the framework of the festival.

The attending delegates focused on discussing and contributing many ideas to finalize the festival organization plan, ensuring that the contents are implemented synchronously, effectively, and in accordance with the local reality. Many opinions also emphasized that organizing the festival not only helps promote the image of Trà My cinnamon but also creates opportunities to boost economic, cultural, and community tourism development in Trà Leng.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyễn Thế Phước - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People's Council affirmed that the 1st Trà Leng Cinnamon Festival in 2026 is an important event for the locality. He requested that all sectors, units, and villages uphold their sense of responsibility, actively coordinate closely in implementing assigned tasks, ensuring that the festival is organized thoroughly, safely, and effectively.
