The 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Student Campaign has officially begun in Trà Leng commune, with the participation of nearly 100 volunteer soldiers from Da Nang University of Education. The presence of these young people brings enthusiasm, responsibility, and a desire to contribute, creating an exciting atmosphere from the very first days of the campaign.
This also continues the close relationship between the university and the locality in community-oriented volunteer programs, accompanying the development of the Trà Leng highlands.

Quickly stabilize accommodation to prepare for the campaign
After traveling to Trà Leng, the volunteer teams arrived at Trà Leng Semi-Boarding Ethnic Primary School (Bằng La hamlet) – where they were stationed for the duration of the campaign. Upon arrival, the volunteers quickly set up their accommodation, arranged personal belongings, cleaned the living area, and checked the facility conditions.

All tasks were carried out with a proactive spirit, responsibility, and close coordination among team members. Despite being unfamiliar with the new location, the volunteers always showed readiness, creating an urgent yet enthusiastic atmosphere. Thorough preparation from the beginning is an important prerequisite for volunteer activities to be smoothly implemented in the coming days.
Trà Leng Commune leaders visit and encourage volunteers
On the first day of the campaign, Mr. Châu Minh Nghĩa – Chairman of Trà Leng Commune People's Committee – visited, encouraged, and checked the accommodation arrangements for the volunteer soldiers. The visit demonstrated the local leaders' concern for the students participating in community activities in the commune.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee expressed his joy that Trà Leng continues to receive the companionship of the youth from Da Nang University of Education. At the same time, he provided an overview of the local situation, shared some notes on daily life and task execution, and wished the volunteers a meaningful, safe summer, leaving many beautiful impressions in Trà Leng.

The commune leaders also hope that the volunteer teams will promote their youthful energy, creativity, and responsibility in community service activities, especially by accompanying the 1st Trà Leng Cinnamon Festival in 2026. The participation of the volunteers is expected to help spread the image of Trà Leng's land and people and promote the unique cultural values of the locality to a large number of tourists.
