On the afternoon of June 16, 2026, the People's Committee of Trà Leng Commune held a meeting to review and evaluate the implementation of the "1st Trà Leng Cinnamon Festival - 2026".
The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Nguyễn Thế Phước - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People's Council, and Mr. Châu Minh Nghĩa - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee.
Reviewing the progress of preparations for the Festival
Attending the meeting were representatives of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Commune People's Council; Vice Chairmen of the Commune People's Committee; Heads and Deputy Heads of the Sub-committees assisting the Festival Organizing Committee; representatives of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and commune associations and unions; leaders and civil servants in charge of Festival-related content from specialized departments and divisions of the Commune People's Committee.
In addition, there were also representatives of leaders from agencies and units including the Commune Party Committee Office, Commune Police, Commune Military Command, Commune Health Station; school principals; Party Cell Secretaries, and Village Heads of villages in the commune.
At the meeting, delegates heard reports on the progress of preparing for the 1st Trà Leng Cinnamon Festival in 2026. Delegates focused on discussing and evaluating the results of assigned tasks, and reviewing remaining issues, difficulties, and obstacles in the implementation process to promptly propose solutions for the coming period.
Focusing on ensuring conditions for the Festival
During the working session, delegates discussed and agreed on content related to propaganda, logistics, infrastructure, ensuring security and order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, healthcare, and cultural and artistic activities serving the Festival.
The review of tasks was carried out to ensure the necessary conditions for the 1st Trà Leng Cinnamon Festival in 2026 to take place successfully, safely, and effectively as planned.
Continuing to accelerate the implementation of tasks
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyễn Thế Phước and Mr. Châu Minh Nghĩa requested that the Sub-committees, agencies, units, and localities continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, proactively coordinate closely, and focus on completing tasks according to the plan.
Units were asked to regularly inspect and urge the progress of implementation, and promptly report any emerging difficulties for the Organizing Committee to consider and resolve, ensuring that preparation tasks are carried out on schedule.
On-site inspection at the planned Festival area
Immediately after the meeting, commune leaders and delegates conducted an on-site inspection at the Bằng La area – the proposed location for the activities of the "1st Trà Leng Cinnamon Festival - 2026".
Here, the delegation surveyed and assessed the current status of the ground, infrastructure, and conditions for organizing the Festival. Through the on-site inspection, commune leaders directed relevant units to urgently complete necessary items, ensuring the best conditions for the upcoming event.
