On the morning of July 20, 2026, the supervisory delegation of the Da Nang City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) held a working session in Trà Leng commune to supervise disaster recovery efforts, social security provisions, and ensure operational funding for the VFF and other political-social organizations in the commune.
The working session aimed to grasp the situation of policy implementation at the grassroots level, evaluate past performance, and record difficulties and obstacles encountered in local practice. It was also an opportunity for relevant agencies to exchange ideas, propose suitable solutions, and contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of social security work in Trà Leng commune.
Field Survey on the Implementation of Post-Disaster Support Policies
The supervisory delegation was led by Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thu Lan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. The delegation included representatives from relevant departments and sectors of the city.
From Trà Leng commune, attendees included Mr. Nguyễn Thế Phước, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of the commune; Mr. Châu Minh Nghĩa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune; Mr. Hồ Văn Liên, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, along with representatives from specialized departments and agencies of the commune.
During the working program, the delegation directly surveyed 5 households and individuals who received support for disaster recovery in 2025 in the commune. Through the survey, the delegation learned about the use of support funds, recorded the results of policy implementation at the grassroots level, and listened to the opinions and aspirations of the households.
The field survey provided the delegation with more specific information about the process of receiving and utilizing support funds by the people after the disaster. At the same time, it served as an important basis for evaluating the appropriateness and effectiveness of the implemented policies, thereby considering areas for further improvement in the coming period.
Contributing to Enhancing the Effectiveness of Social Security Work
Through the supervisory session, the delegation gained a more objective basis for evaluating the implementation of support policies in Trà Leng commune. The information recorded during the working session will contribute to a more accurate reflection of the actual situation, especially for households affected by natural disasters.
The supervisory activity also contributed to strengthening coordination between the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and various levels and sectors in implementing programs to care for the lives of the people. This is an important content in the context that the locality continues to focus on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, stabilizing people's lives, and ensuring social security.
The results of the working session serve as a basis for relevant units to continue researching and perfecting solutions for implementing support policies, enhancing the effectiveness of social security work, and ensuring the legitimate rights of the people. Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals in Trà Leng commune in the coming period.
