Within the framework of the 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign currently taking place in Trà Leng commune, on the morning of July 1st, volunteer soldiers from the University of Education - University of Da Nang (UED) organized a training program on the topic of “Sorting, recycling, and reducing plastic waste”. The program attracted more than 50 union members and young people, providing practical knowledge about environmental protection and contributing to spreading a green lifestyle in the community.
The activity was a significant highlight in the series of programs of the Green Summer Campaign in Trà Leng, demonstrating the youth's sense of responsibility towards the living environment and aiming to build positive habits from daily actions.
Equipping knowledge to form practical actions
At the training session, union members and young people were guided on how to sort waste at the source, learned methods of recycling plastic waste into useful items in daily life, and accessed communication skills to raise community awareness about reducing plastic waste.
With a friendly communication style, practical content, and many interactive activities, the program created a lively and exciting atmosphere. Each sharing session helped young people better understand the importance of proper waste sorting, rational use of plastic products, and gradually changing inappropriate daily habits.
