In the last days of June, preparations for the 1st Trà Leng Cinnamon Festival in 2026 are urgently underway in Bằng La village. Alongside the involvement of local authorities and residents, the participation of nearly 100 Green Summer Campaign soldiers from the University of Education - University of Da Nang has added a positive energy, contributing to the completion of the festival space before the event.
The presence of the students brings with it the volunteer spirit, responsibility, and enthusiasm of youth. Simple but practical actions have created a beautiful image of sharing, contributing to the community, and leaving many good impressions on the people of Trà Leng.
Joining hands to build a green, clean, and culturally rich festival space
From the morning of June 30th, the Green Summer soldiers simultaneously launched a clean-up campaign in the festival area, clearing weeds, collecting trash, tidying up roads, and arranging the landscape in Bằng La village. Under the early summer sun, each task was carried out with a high sense of responsibility, contributing to creating a spacious, clean, and beautiful appearance, ready to welcome residents and tourists.
In addition to environmental sanitation, the students also spent a lot of time creating decorative products for the festival. From stream pebbles, tree branches, and materials close to nature, with creativity and skillful hands, many works bearing the cultural imprint of Trà Leng have gradually been completed. Each product embodies the affection of the youth for the mountainous region, contributing to highlighting the local cultural identity within the festival space.
