To prepare for the first Cinnamon Festival in 2026 with the theme “The Scent of Quế Trà Leng - Belief and Aspiration to Reach Further”, on May 19, 2026, the Steering Committee and Organizing Committee of the festival conducted a field survey of potential locations for tent camps, camping spaces, and experience points to serve tourists during the festival from July 04 - 05, 2026.
The survey focused on evaluating ground conditions, natural landscapes, connecting infrastructure, and the feasibility of organizing community experience activities associated with local culture. According to the Organizing Committee's orientation, camping areas will be built in a model close to nature, utilizing the unique space of the Quế Trà Leng region to create a distinct highlight for this year's festival.
Many options for arranging tent accommodation areas, community activity areas, check-in points, nature experience spaces, and sanitation areas for tourists were surveyed and discussed directly on-site. In addition to convenience and safety, the Organizing Committee particularly emphasized preserving the environmental landscape, creating a harmonious feeling between the festival space and the pristine beauty of the Trà Leng mountains and forests.

At the survey, Comrade Châu Minh Nghĩa - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Trà Leng commune, shared: “The first Cinnamon Festival in 2026 must be organized in a way that deeply embodies the cultural identity of the Ca Dong and M’Nông ethnic groups; every activity, every space at the festival needs to be invested in depth of content, have its own story and meaningful message to convey to the people and tourists about the journey of the Quế Trà Leng cinnamon tree - from its historical and cultural value to the aspiration for sustainable development today.”
He also requested relevant departments to continue researching and refining the organizational plan in a scientific, nature-friendly direction, creating unique experiences for tourists. Thereby, contributing to making the Quế Trà Leng Cinnamon Festival a characteristic cultural-tourism event of the highlands, gradually spreading the image of Quế Trà Leng and local identity more widely in the future.
