In response to the 2026 Action Month for Children and International Children's Day on June 1st, the People's Committee of Tra Leng commune organized a program to disseminate information on preventing drowning accidents for children, combined with presenting gifts to children in extremely difficult circumstances in the commune.
The program was attended by Comrade Nguyen The Phuoc - Secretary of the Tra Leng Commune Party Committee; Comrade Ho Van Van - Vice Chairman of the Tra Leng Commune People's Committee; Comrade Ho Van Lien - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tra Leng Commune; along with representatives from departments, agencies, mass organizations, leaders of schools, and a large number of students in the area.
At the program, students were educated and provided with basic knowledge and skills for preventing drowning accidents; recognizing potential risks that cause insecurity during the summer; and guided on self-protection measures when participating in recreational activities near rivers, streams, ponds, and lakes. This is a practical activity to raise awareness among children, families, and the community in preventing injuries, contributing to limiting unfortunate risks that may occur during the summer.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Tra Leng commune also presented meaningful gifts to children in extremely difficult circumstances. Although these gifts may not be of great material value, they demonstrate the care and sharing of the Party Committee, local government, and organizations towards children in the area, contributing to encouraging them to strive to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies and lives.
The program is a meaningful activity demonstrating the local government's concern for the care, protection, and education of children. Thereby, it contributes to enhancing the responsibility of families, schools, and society as a whole in building a safe and healthy living environment for children to study, play, and develop comprehensively.
For the children of today, for the future of tomorrow, Tra Leng commune continues to promote activities to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of children, creating conditions for all children to live in love, care, and the best possible development conditions.
