Furama Resort Da Nang is gradually becoming a bridge to bring the cultural values and local products of Central Vietnam closer to international tourists. Accompanying the journey to promote Quế Trà My, Furama aims for a tourism development model associated with community and sustainable development.
In recent years, the trend of experiential tourism and learning about indigenous culture has attracted increasing attention from tourists. Not just limited to resort services, many tourist areas and hotels are beginning to focus on incorporating local products into their experiential spaces to create a unique impression for the destination. In Da Nang, Furama Resort Da Nang is one of the establishments pursuing this direction.
By accompanying the conference “Quế Trà My Journey - From Historical Value to Sustainable Development” on May 15, 2026, Furama Resort Da Nang wishes to contribute to spreading the value of Trà Leng highland products to domestic and international tourists. Many cinnamon products such as essential oils, scented candles, cinnamon soap, honey, and handicrafts will be introduced at the resort as part of the Central Vietnamese cultural experience space.

Mr. Nguyễn Đức Quỳnh - Chairman of the Da Nang Hotel Association shared: “We wish to accompany the people of Trà Leng, the University of Education - University of Da Nang, and businesses to bring Quế Trà My and other local products to domestic and international tourists, enhancing the value of gift products and agricultural products, thereby promoting cultural and heritage tourism, contributing to the socio-economic development and tourism of the city.”
Quế Trà My has long been considered a characteristic product of the western mountainous region of Quảng Nam, associated with the lives of the Ca Dong and M’nông people for generations, carrying high cultural value thanks to its large essential oil content, with potential for development in the fields of pharmaceuticals, natural cosmetics, and health care.

Connecting highland products with the resort tourism system is expected to help Quế Trà My access the international market more closely. Through the actual experience of tourists, local products are not only widely promoted but also tell the story of the culture, people, and livelihoods of the Central Vietnamese highlands.
In this journey, the participation of tourism businesses like Furama Resort Da Nang is considered a crucial link to connect indigenous values with the modern tourism market. This is not only a product promotion activity but also contributes to creating a foundation for a tourism development model associated with community responsibility and sustainable development in the future.
